Steady Improvement Throughout 10K Rachel Trinidad, 38, from West Roxbury, MA, participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She completed the 10K with a final time of 1:15:20 and an average pace of 12:09 min/mile. Her race started strongly, and despite some variability in her splits, she demonstrated consistent improvement by her fifth mile. Her fastest split was recorded at mile six with a pace of 11:55 min/mile. Rachel began the race with an 11:09 min/mile pace in the first mile. Despite a slowdown around the fourth mile to 13:12 min/mile, she regained her speed. Her placement fluctuated throughout, but she ended 3701st overall and 1015th in her division. As a coach, Id encourage Rachel to focus on maintaining a steady pace throughout the race to prevent any mid-race slowdowns. Her ability to pick up the pace in the final miles was impressive and demonstrates her potential for competitive pacing.
