Consistent Effort with Strategic Finishing Robin McKenzie, at 76 from Brookline, MA, demonstrated a remarkably consistent performance throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Her overall elapsed time was 1:24:09, covering a 6.2-mile distance with an average pace of 13:34 min/mile. Notably, Robin maintained a steady pace in the first two miles clocking 13:11 and 13:08 min/mile respectively. A strategic finish in the latter part of the course was key, improving her overall position in the field significantly. By mile 5, Robin advanced her standing from 4149 to 3045 overall. There was a slight increase in split time at mile 3, but she quickly recovered to achieve a more stable pace in the subsequent miles.
