Consistent Pace with Strong Division Placement Nune Makarova completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 1:12:32, maintaining a consistent overall pace of 11:42 min/mile. Her performance was notably steady, with split times ranging from 11:04 min/mile at the start to 12:18 min/mile towards the finish. Throughout the race, she secured the 5th place in her visually impaired division, demonstrating commendable focus and endurance. Starting strong, Nune completed the first mile at an 11:04 min/mile pace and tactfully adapted her pace throughout, never losing sight of her division position. Mile 6 marked a significant leap forward in her overall and gender placements, jumping to 2283 and 2243, respectively. This final push highlighted her ability to finish strong, despite the progressive increase in her pace. For future races, a focus on even greater consistency in each mile could enhance her already impressive performance.
