Consistent Start, Slight Fade in Later Splits Ivana de la Serna completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an overall time of 1:03:24, averaging a pace of 10:13 per mile. Her performance commenced with a strong and consistent pace, clocking the first two miles under 9:40 per mile. Notably, she held a solid split pace of 9:37 for the first mile, but exhibited a slight decline thereafter. By the second mile, her pace dipped slightly to 9:35. As the race progressed, there was a noticeable shift in her pacing. Mile 3 saw a pace decrease to 10:13, which continued to slow to 10:38 by Mile 4. Her final two splits were steady from Mile 5 to 6 with paces of 10:40 and 10:37 respectively. Ivana could look into strategies for maintaining her early speed throughout the race.
