Consistent Improvement and Strong Finish Joan DiMicco, a 52-year-old from Brookline, MA, demonstrated a consistently improving pace throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with an Elapsed Pace of 8:46 min/mile in the first mile, she managed to increase her speed by the fifth mile, clocking an 8:16 min/mile Split Pace. Her Elapsed Time of 52:25 placed her 34th in the F50-59 age group out of all participants. Highlighting her determination, Joan's overall placement improved steadily over the course, moving from 727th after the first mile to 427th by the end of the 10K.
