Accelerated Progression Throughout the 10K Lara Durand demonstrated consistent improvement in pace as she progressed through the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with a pace of 12:04 min/mile at the first mile, she steadily increased her speed, ultimately completing the final mile at a pace of 10:01 min/mile. Her overall pace was 10:37 min/mile, completing the 10K in 1:05:50. This line of progression shows remarkable consistency and endurance, with her best split pace of 10:00 min/mile occurring in the fifth mile. By the end of the race, Lara had significantly improved her position, moving up 1003 places from her first-mile overall position to finish 1722nd. She also improved within her age group, finishing 301st in the F40-49 division. This strong finish among over 5600 participants highlights her effective pacing strategy and strength in the latter part of her run. Continuing to work on early pacing might yield even better results.
