Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Atahan Afsar maintained a commendable pace throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, completing the race in 53:43 with an overall pace of 8:39 min/mile. Notable in the early splits is Afsar's consistent start, clocking identical times for the first two miles at a steady 8:24 min/mile. He then slightly slowed through miles three and four before picking up the pace again in the final stretch, finishing the last mile in 8:06. Afsar showed impressive recovery and speed in the last mile, improving his split time by nearly a minute compared to prior laps. His overall position was 748th out of 5,663 participants, placing 10th in his division for men aged 30-39. As part of the Millies Angels team, Afsar delivered a solid performance that could benefit from even pacing over the entire course to reduce fluctuations in pace.
