Consistent Effort and Notable Finish Jill Vespa, representing the SunRiseChasers team, completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a final time of 1:33:28. She maintained an average pace of 15:04 min/mile throughout the 6.2-mile course. Starting with a strong first mile of 14:17, Jill improved her pace slightly to 14:06 in the second mile, demonstrating the potential for early race efficiency. Notably, Jills strategic or perhaps needed adjustments to pacing during miles 3 to 5 saw her overall placement improve significantly. She moved from 4357th after mile 3 to 3065th by the sixth mile, a testament to her endurance as the race progressed. While the last mile paced at 15:58, the endurance allowed for a significant advancement in both overall and age division placement, finishing 345th in her F50-59 division out of a competitive field. Continuing to focus on strategies to maintain pace could further enhance future race performances.
