Consistent Improvement Throughout the Race Alexandra Salimi, from Auburndale, MA, demonstrated consistent improvements in pace throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with an initial split pace of 12:17 min/mile, she eventually improved her pace to 11:20 min/mile by the sixth mile. Total race time was 1:13:55, with an average pace of 11:55 min/mile. Her ability to steadily decrease her pace over time is noteworthy. In terms of placement, Alexandra showed significant improvement. Moving from a place overall of 3864 at the first mile, she progressed to 2392 by the end of the race. Within her age division, F30-39, she climbed from 1039th place to finish at 645th. Her involvement with the Marathon Sports Wellesley Run Club may have contributed positively.
