Consistent and Strong Finish Susan Obendorf showcased impressive consistent pacing throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with a 9:31 min/mile pace for the first mile, she subtly increased her speed to nearly maintain sub 9:25 min/mile for the rest of the race. Her overall race time was 58:16, resulting in an average pace of 9:23 min/mile. She experienced larger improvements between miles two and three, dropping her split pace by 8 seconds. Despite a slight dip to a 9:34 min/mile on the final stretch, Susan improved her division placement significantly, finishing 31st place in the F60-69 division. The consistency achieved through her race is laudable. For the next race, pushing for a more even split in the later miles could enhance performance further. Keep up the great work!
