Consistent Effort Throughout the 10K Veena Venugopal delivered a consistent performance in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with a solid pace of 9:02 min/mile for her first mile, she maintained a close pace throughout the race. Her average pace only slightly slowed to 9:44 min/mile by the end of the 6.2-mile race. Her pacing strategy led her to finish with an elapsed time of 1:00:21. It's noteworthy that Veena completed the race within the top third of her division, F40-49, placing 288th. Her strongest miles in terms of place were the first two, where she kept her overall rank below 1100. Despite a bit of slowdown observed between miles 4 and 5, her recovery in the final mile was commendable. Focus on maintaining a steady pace in the middle miles could enhance future performances. Overall, Veena showcased solid endurance and determination throughout the race.
