Consistent Gains and a Strong Finish Thais Leonel, representing Boston Road Runners, delivered a consistent and improving performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting her race at a pace of 10:17 min/mile for the first mile, Thais consistently improved her pace with each mile. By the fifth mile, she had increased her speed significantly, recording a split pace of 8:49 min/mile. Her ability to progressively quicken her pace demonstrates excellent stamina and effective race strategy. Crossing the finish line with a total time of 58:30 and an average pace of 9:26 min/mile, Thais impressively placed 1385th out of 5663 participants. As she advanced through the race, her ranking improved notably, particularly within her division (F20-29), where she climbed from 777th to 544th place.
