Building Consistency and Endurance Justina Wong from Belmont, MA, completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 1:05:25, maintaining an average pace of 10:33 min/mile. Over the six splits, her pace showed initial consistency, starting with a 10:15 min/mile and reaching 10:05 min/mile at the second mile, before seeing a gradual decline in speed. Notably, her placement improved significantly from the beginning to the end, moving from 2006th in her division at the first mile to 1577th by the last. In the final stretch, Justina managed to improve her overall standing by closing with consistent paces despite an increase in time per mile from the fourth split onwards. Her consistent improvement in position from 2068th to 1609th overall demonstrates effective pacing and a strong finish. Future efforts could focus on maintaining the mid-race pace through to the finish for an even stronger performance. Excellent job sustaining effort across the distance!
