Consistent Improvement in Split Times Sophia Pentland maintained a strong performance throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with an initial mile split of 8:38, she progressively increased her speed in subsequent miles. Her fastest split was recorded between mile 2 and mile 3 with a split pace of 8:01, showing a solid improvement as the race progressed. Her final overall pace was 8:10 min/mile. It is commendable that Sophia improved her placement consistently across the race. Starting at 640th overall, she moved up significantly to finish 442nd. Her pace increased as the race went on, with a notable advancement in the standings from 640th to 340th between mile 1 and mile 6. Focusing on maintaining the pace seen in the later stages could enhance her performance further in future races. Keep up the great work!
