Consistent Splits with a Strong Finish Hayley Whelan from Cambridge, MA, completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an overall time of 1:13:20, averaging an 11:49 min/mile pace over the 6.2-mile course. Excelling in consistency, Hayley's pacing was commendable as she maintained a near steady pace across the race, with only slight fluctuations in her splits. Particularly noteworthy is Hayley's performance in the latter half of the race, where she progressively improved her pace. Her final mile was completed in 11:03, marking her fastest from the 5th mile onward. Additionally, Hayley improved her overall standings, climbing from 994th after the first mile to 2357th by the end. Moving forward, focusing on maintaining an even stronger pace in the middle sections of the race may yield even better finishing positions. Excellent effort and strong pacing, Hayley!
