Steady Progress with a Strong Finish Sara Zieff completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an overall time of 1:17:59, maintaining an average pace of 12:34 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. Starting with a solid pace of 11:43 min/mile in the first mile, Sara experienced some variability in her pacing but displayed consistency towards the end. Her placements fluctuated throughout the race, peaking at 3937 overall after the third mile but showing a remarkable improvement in the final stretch, finishing 2626 overall in the sixth mile split. A constructive assessment of her splits reveals that although fatigue may have influenced her pace slightly during the third mile, Sara was able to regain her stride and improve her position significantly by the end of the race. Continuing to work on maintaining early mile paces in the middle part of the race could further enhance her overall performance.
