Consistent Effort with Notable Split Improvements Anne West from Boston completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an overall time of 1:04:26 and an average pace of 10:23 min/mile. Her performance showed notable consistency, maintaining a very steady pace for the majority of the 6.2 miles. A highlight was her improvement during the second mile, with a pace of 9:53 min/mile, quicker than her starting pace of 10:05 min/mile. Positions fluctuated slightly throughout the race. After starting the first mile at 1,901st place overall, Anne made significant progress and periodically improved her position. Encouragingly, her pacing was strong enough to result in a solid finish within her division of F30-39, maintaining her place in a highly competitive field. One area to consider would be maintaining the sub-10:00 min/mile split achieved in the second mile more consistently across the remaining miles.
