Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Claudia O'Rourke from Quincy, MA, displayed consistent performance throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She started with a first mile pace of 15:38 min/mile and gradually improved her pace in the second and third miles, achieving 15:27 min/mile and 15:26 min/mile respectively. Her overall elapsed time was 1:37:46, with an average pace of 15:46 min/mile for the 6.2-mile course. Notably, she finished strong, advancing significantly in overall placement during the sixth mile where she clocked a split time of 16:40 min/mile, moving up by over 1,300 places. Claudia placed as high as 542nd in her division during the final stretch, indicating a strong finish. Enhancing speed in the latter half of the course could improve her performance. Yet, her consistent pacing and ability to finish strong remain impressive.
