Consistent Performance with Steady Pace Eleanor O'Gorman maintained a strong and consistent performance throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. She started with an impressive first mile at 7:58 min/mile, navigating through the initial part of the race with efficiency. Her pace hovered just under the 8-minute mark through mile 3, with mile splits showing slight variations7:58, 7:50, and 8:00 for the first three miles. A minor slowdown was observed in the latter half of the race where splits reached 8:08 and 8:23 in miles 4 and 5. Eleanor concluded the race with an overall time of 50:41, a commendable effort resulting in an average pace of 8:10 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. Despite the slight increase in split times during the final miles, she demonstrated endurance and concluded with a solid final mile at 8:38 min/mile. With her current pacing strategy, working on maintaining speed during the latter segments could beneficially impact future races.
