Consistent Pacing in Every Split Steph Yost competed in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with noteworthy consistency. With an overall elapsed time of 1:14:12 and a final average pace of 11:58 min/mile, Steph maintained a steady rhythm throughout the race. Starting with two identical splits at 11:40 min/mile, she demonstrated a strong initial pace. Her most consistent sections were the first two miles and mile six, where her pace returned to under 12 minutes. In terms of placement among her peers, Steph's strongest performance in the F50-59 division was during mile five, where she moved up to 257th position. Notably, she gained placement in the overall race as well as within her division and gender, especially in the later stages. This improvement towards the end can be leveraged even further by maintaining the initial consistent pacing. Overall, focus on maintaining strides in the middle mile section could enhance future race experiences.
