Consistent Improvement and Strategic Pacing Heather Stoeger completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 1:37:08, maintaining an average pace of 15:40 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. The initial split was completed in 15:55, but Heather managed to improve her pacing to 15:11 by the second mile. She demonstrated consistent pacing improvement in the 4th and 5th miles by running 15:29 and 15:28, respectively, showing strategic abilities in maintaining speed during the middle of the race. Heather's placement improved significantly during the latter part of the race, moving from 3291st to 3119th overall. Notably, she advanced in her division, F30-39, from 893rd by the 5th mile to 820th by the race's end. Continuing to focus on maintaining a steady pace while targeting slight improvements in speed during the middle and later stages of the race could further enhance her performance for future races.
