Her consistent improvement throughout the race was noteworthy. Starting with an initial pace of 9:11 min/mile, she progressively reduced her pace, improving by 20 seconds per mile by the end, achieving an 8:50 min/mile. Her race execution was impressive, reflecting her steadily accelerating pace. By mile 2, she quickened to a 9:00 min/mile and continued this trend, ending with her fastest pace of 8:41 min/mile during the last mile. Keeping a consistent pace and gradually increasing speed is a key skill that Genevieve successfully employed.
