Consistent Progression with a Strong Finish Audrey Feldman of Somerville, MA participated in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, maintaining a steady pace throughout. Starting with a 8:55 min/mile for her first mile, she showcased increased efficiency, clocking a split time of 8:36 min/mile by the second mile. Her consistent pace continued, achieving an overall elapsed pace of 8:43 min/mile, finishing the race in 54:07. As the race progressed, Audrey improved her standing, rising from an initial overall position of 849 to finishing at 778 out of 5663 participants. Notably, between the fifth and sixth miles, her place overall jumped considerably, from 737 to 552. Encouragingly, her performance in the F20-29 division also saw an improvement, closing at 227 in her last mile. For future races, focusing on maintaining even splits throughout could leverage this potential for even greater strides in personal achievements.
