She began the race strong with an impressive first-mile split of 9:45, positioning herself well in her division (F30-39) at 117th. As the race progressed, while her pace slightly fluctuated, she showed great endurance by consistently finishing each mile near her average pace. Notably, in the final stretch, Katie improved her overall standing considerably from 1752nd to 1177th. Ending strong is a positive aspect of her performance.
