Consistent Effort with Strong Mid-Race Performance Mariel maintained a steady pace throughout her 10K race, finishing in 50:40. Her average pace was 8:10 min/mile, with an impressive middle segment, running a 7:42 split between miles 1 and 2, demonstrating strong pacing skills. Starting with an 8:05 mile, she pushed forward, enhancing her performance and climbing in both overall and division rankings early on. In the latter stages, though her pace slightly decreased, she delivered consistent performance, finishing with honor, occupying 323nd place among all female runners in her age division of F40-49. Paying close attention to maintaining a consistent pace in the latter part of the race and focusing on her positioning strategy could be beneficial for future races.
