Consistent Start with Steady Finish Lauren maintained a strong and consistent pace during the initial stages of the race, showcasing an impressive 8:00 min/mile for the first two miles. This consistent effort placed her prominently in the top tier of her division early on, as she held a strong position of 6th place in the F50-59 division after the first mile. In the latter part of the race, Lauren's pace slowed slightly, recording splits of 8:30 min/mile and beyond. This resulted in her finishing with an elapsed pace of 8:27 min/mile. During the progression of the race, her division ranking saw a shift, ultimately placing 32nd. Despite this, maintaining an overall position of 586 out of 5663 participants was commendable. Increasing speed in the latter stages could help elevate her division ranking in future races. Her team, New Decade, surely appreciates her strong performance and resilience throughout the event.
