Consistent Performance with Progressive Gains Sandy Gleason maintained a commendable level of consistency throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Her splits reveal a steady pace, with her elapsed pace remaining between 9:15 and 9:22 minutes per mile over the course of the race. Notably, after an initial split completed in 9:15 and placing 315th overall, she demonstrated perseverance and resilience, especially in the latter part of the race where she improved her position significantly from 1131st overall at mile 5 to 880th by mile 6. Overall, Sandy's finish time was 57:59, marking an average pace of 9:21 minutes per mile. Such progress from mile to mile is promising. A slight slowdown was observed during the fifth mile, where her split pace of 9:32 could be reviewed for pacing strategies in future races.
