Consistently Improving Pace and Placement Throughout the Race Alma Nieto from Dorchester, MA completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an impressive finish time of 58:29, averaging a pace of 9:26 min/mile. Her performance saw consistent improvement in both pace and placement over the course of the race. Alma showed significant gains, notably improving her pace from 10:03 min/mile during the first mile to a strong 8:59 min/mile during the final stretch. Alma's strategic pacing contributed to her substantial climb in the rankings, as she progressed from 1884th overall after mile one, to finishing 1380th overall. She was also able to move up significantly in her division, F30-39, starting at 516th and finishing 385th. Alma represented her team, Hey Girl Run, very well. Keep focusing on maintaining this progression throughout each segment in future races to continue enhancing overall performance.
