Abby showcased steady improvement throughout the race, advancing her position from 852 to 744 overall, and from 823 to 712 among females. Notably, she enhanced her division standing from 344 to 295 in the F20-29 category. Abby started with an opening mile of 8:55 min/mile and accelerated through the second mile with a split of 8:24 min/mile, demonstrating strategic pacing. The third and fourth miles were run at 8:34 and 8:35 min/mile respectively, further improving her standings.
