Consistent Effort with Strong Finish Qiping Chen maintained a steady pace throughout the 10K. Her overall time was 1:11:35 with an elapsed pace of 11:32 min/mile. Notably, Qiping's fifth and sixth miles were her fastest, clocking at 11:15 and 11:09 min/mile respectively. This shows a commendable ability to reserve energy for a strong finish. Although there was a drop in placement from the second to the fourth mile, she made a significant recovery in the last two miles. Her final position was 321st in her age division, out of a total of 5663 participants. Looking at her performance, maintaining a steady improvement in the final miles is a great strategy.
