Consistent Mid-Race Acceleration Regina Curran delivered a steady performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, showcasing consistency and minor acceleration mid-race. She completed the race with an elapsed time of 1:00:57 and an average pace of 9:49 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. Maintaining a strategic approach, Regina's performance was particularly notable between miles 2 and 3 where she increased her split pace from 9:48 to 9:39 min/mile, resulting in a decrease in her placement numbers in both overall and division categories. Her overall position fluctuated with the race dynamics, initially starting at 1812 and moving to 1183 by the 6-mile mark. Notably, Reginas strongest improvement was visible in the F50-59 division, moving from 140th at the start to 83rd by the end. Working on maintaining that increased pace in the latter half of the race could further enhance her race experience. Great job representing the Melrose Running Club!
