Consistent Start, Strong Finish Hannah began the 10K with an impressive pace of 10:48 minutes per mile, showing strong initial momentum. Her first split placed her 781st overall, a commendable start among a large field of participants. As she progressed, her split times showed minor fluctuations, with the first three miles averaging an 11:03-minute pace. This steady start laid a solid foundation for the remainder of the race. In the latter half, there was a slight deceleration, with the fifth and sixth splits timing in at 12:09 and 12:10 per mile, respectively. Despite this, Hannah concluded with a respectable overall pace of 11:28 minutes per mile. Her final position showed a strong finish, notably moving up in ranking during the last miles to place 2173rd in overall standing by the sixth mile, indicating effective endurance. Enhancing pacing strategies could streamline future performances.
