Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Jeanmarie Hanson completed the 10K race with a final time of 1:46:31, averaging a pace of 17:10 min/mile. Each mile showed consistent pacing beginning with 16:34 min/mile, increasing slightly each mile with a noticeable decrease in mile 6 at 18:13 min/mile. Her placement in the F50-59 division was 522 out of her age group. Notable was her performance in the overall rankings where she improved her standings significantly by 225 positions in the final mile. Although the pace slowed in the last mile, the improvement in placement indicates a well-managed effort. A focus on maintaining early mile paces in the later stages could be beneficial.
