Consistent Gains in Strong Finish Sandra Cotterell completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an overall time of 1:16:52, maintaining a steady average pace of 12:23 minutes per mile over the 10K distance. Notably consistent with her pacing, her split paces ranged from 12:04 to 12:45 minutes per mile. Sandra started strong with the first mile at a 12:04 pace, the fastest of her race. Her overall ranking was 3807 out of 5663 participants, placing 180th in her division (F60-69). Splits revealed slight variances, with her slowest mile in the last third of the race and recovery with slightly faster paces towards the end. Improvements can focus on maintaining energy through the mid-race section to leverage speed later. Her team, 261 Fearless Club New England, must be proud of her finishing effort as she moved up positions significantly in the last mile. Excellent perseverance demonstrated with a late-race surge to improve placement.
