Consistent Effort with Sub-10 Pace Donna LoConte showed a steady performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race. Her initial mile was completed in 9:58, and she successfully maintained sub-10-minute miles until Mile 6, where her pace slightly slowed to 10:05 min/mile. Overall, she averaged a pace of 9:49 min/mile over the 10K distance. Donna placed 21st in her F60-69 division in the first mile and ultimately secured the 61st position by the end. Notably, she experienced a surge during the second mile, achieving a 9:46 min/mile split, the fastest of her race. Although her placement fluctuated slightly, her consistent pacing ensured a strong finish. Working on keeping the same pace in the last mile could enhance her results even further in future races.
