Consistent Pacing and Steady Improvement Jenna Whilden from Somerville demonstrated consistent efforts in her 10K performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Starting with an 11:15 min/mile pace in the first mile, Jenna swiftly adapted, improving her pace to 10:31 min/mile by mile two. Her overall elapsed pace of 10:53 min/mile showcases her ability to maintain steady energy levels throughout the race. Despite a few fluctuations in her mile splits, such as an 11:12 min/mile pace at mile three and a strong finish with a consistent pace near the end, Jennas performance remained consistent. Finishing 1066th in her age division (F20-29) out of 5663 participants is commendable. Continuing to focus on maintaining the sub-11:00 paces seen in miles two, five, and six could lead to even better results in future races.
