Consistent Pace and Improvement Throughout the Race Devin Daly demonstrated consistent pacing during the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, progressively improving her performance over each mile. Starting with a 11:26 min/mile pace for the first mile, she gradually increased her speed. By mile 4, Devin achieved her fastest split pace of the race at 10:49 min/mile. This consistent improvement moved her placement from 3291 overall at the first mile to 1956 by the end of the race. Finishing the 10K with an overall time of 1:08:27, Devin averaged an 11:02 min/mile pace, showcasing her ability to maintain a steady rhythm throughout. Her strategy of pacing paid off as she improved her place within her division F20-29 from 1192 early in the race to 725 by the final split. For future races, continuing to work on the positive momentum and finding opportunities to decrease split times further will build on this impressive base.
