Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Susan Mester, at age 63, completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with an overall time of 1:06:14, covering the 6.2 miles at an average pace of 10:41 min/mile. Notably, Susan maintained a consistent pace throughout the race, as evidenced by her mile splits, which ranged narrowly between 10:30 and 10:52 min/mile. Her strategy of steady splits paid off as she moved up significantly in the ranks, improving her overall position from 2674 at the second mile to 1740 by the finish. Among her division, Women 60-69, Susan finished 112th. Encouragingly, her strongest mile occurred between miles 3 and 4, where she clocked her fastest split time of 10:30 min/mile. Going forward, focusing on maintaining pace consistency in the latter stages of the race could result in further improvements. Great job on achieving strong consistency and a solid finish!
