Consistent Pace Leads to Strong Race Finish Peggy Ho delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, finishing the race in 1:04:31 with an overall pace of 10:24 min/mile. Notably, Peggy improved her pace with each mile, starting at 11:12 min/mile and managing to bring it down to 10:26 min/mile by the final stretch. Her impressive effort culminated in placing 191st in the F50-59 division. During the race, Peggy climbed steadily through the ranks, improving almost 1000 positions overall from mile one to the finish. Her split times illustrate a well-executed strategy, with each mile consistently faster; the fastest mile was the fourth at a split pace of 10:08 min/mile. Such consistent improvement and pacing skills contributed to a strong showing amongst her peers in a field of over 5600 participants. For future races, maintaining or slightly increasing the early pace could further enhance her overall performance.
