Consistent Pace with Final Push Kristen Picard maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, finishing the race with an elapsed time of 1:13:21 and an average pace of 11:49 min/mile. Her first mile, completed in 10:30, was her fastest, demonstrating her strong start. From miles 2 to 5, Kristen's pace showed a gradual increase, peaking at a split pace of 13:12 in mile 6, which was a 15% slowdown from the first mile. Interestingly, Kristen showed resilience by recovering her overall position in mile 6, moving up to 2343 in the overall standings. In her division F40-49, she finished positioned at 599 out of the field. Continued work on improving the pacing strategy could provide benefits, especially maintaining the pace during the latter part of the race. Overall, Kristen's performance was a great display of initial strength and determination, especially with the improvement of her position in the final mile.
