Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Tian Lu completed the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with a total time of 1:11:49, maintaining a consistent average pace of 11:35 min/mile over the 6.2-mile course. Tian began the race with a steady first mile at 11:08 min/mile and slightly picked up pace in the second mile at 11:02 min/mile, which was her fastest split, demonstrating a strong start. After a slight slowdown in the third mile with a pace of 11:55 min/mile, Tian gained momentum again in the sixth mile, clocking in at 11:26 min/mile, which contributed to a strong finish. Tians strategic pacing allowed her to maintain a notable progression through the field, especially evident in her overall placement gains from mile three to the finish. While her overall placement was 3367 out of 5663 participants, focusing on maintaining an even pace and building on the successful final mile can enhance future performances.
