Consistent Progress with Strategic Pacing Aiko Laski maintained consistent pacing throughout her 10K race in Boston. Starting strong, Aiko covered her first mile in 14:02. Her pace adjusted slightly over the next two miles, clocking in at 14:53 and 15:10, respectively. After maintaining a steady pace in the early stages, she navigated the middle portion of the race with split times of 18:46 and 15:31. Aiko's final mile was completed in 16:51, contributing to her overall finish time of 1:37:33 and an average pace of 15:44 min/mile. She improved her placement from mid-race, finishing overall at 4451 out of 5663 participants. Aiko's ability to pace herself steadily led to a strong finish in the F30-39 division, where she placed 1198. A positive aspect of her performance was the reduced time of her final split which indicates the potential to consistently increase her pace in future races.
