Consistent Performance with Steady Split Improvements Sarina Sabouri showed a commendable effort throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women with consistent pacing. Her initial mile was strong, clocked at 8:00 min/mile, and she maintained an overall pace of 8:21 min/mile. Though there was a slight increase in her split times, peaking at 8:33 min/mile during Mile 3, she quickly adjusted and finished effectively. Sarina demonstrated impressive resilience, finishing the race in 51:50. Sarina participated as part of the MIT EECS GSA team, finishing 549th overall out of 5663 participants. Notably, her performance in the F20-29 division saw her place 222nd. Compared to her initial race positions, where she was 112th overall and 106th among females, she gained positions between Miles 4 and 6. This data suggests an improvement in pacing strategy during the latter stages. For future races, focusing on maintaining the early pace more consistently may enhance her overall performance.
