Strong Comeback and Dominant Divisional Performance Sarah Summers demonstrated impressive performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. After a slower start with an initial split pace of 16:09 min/mile, where she was placed 1347th overall, she significantly picked up her pace. Sarah's second split was a commendable 8:41 min/mile, which pushed her all the way up to 33rd overall and 1st in her age division of F60-69. Her performance remained consistent in the subsequent splits, maintaining the top position in her division. The most notable recovery was her third and fourth splits, both clocking in at an impressive 1:14 minute per mile, holding strong in 33rd position overall and within her division. Although there was some drop in pace during the final stretch, ending with an overall elapsed time of 57:57, Sarah managed to secure a solid 38th place finish in her division. Focusing on maintaining a consistent pace might be beneficial in future races.
