Consistent Effort with a Strong Finish Emily demonstrated consistency and determination in the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, with steady pacing throughout the race. Starting with a split pace of 9:02 min/mile for the first three miles, she maintained focus and rhythm. Its worth noting that she improved her pace in the fourth and fifth miles, running at 8:52 and 8:54 min/mile respectively. This improvement led to a noticeable advancement in her overall position, enhancing her placement within the age division. Emily completed the race with an overall time of 56:08, averaging a pace of 9:03 min/mile for the 6.2-mile distance. Her strong push from mile four to five highlights her ability to keep up momentum. Continuing to work on maintaining that quicker pace through to the end could be an excellent focus for future races. Representing the MIT EECS GSA, Emily finished 408th in her division out of a total of 5663 participants.
