Steady Progression with Strong Finish Tess Wankum ran the 2025 Boston 10K for Women at an average pace of 11:03 min/mile, completing the course in 1:08:35. Her performance shows consistent effort and improvement over the race distance, particularly noteworthy during the final kilometers. Tess started the race with a 10:48 min/mile pace, improving progressively in the initial miles with split times of 10:48, 10:32, and just a slight increase to 11:19 at mile three. By mile six, Tess managed a good pace, clocking in at 11:21, resulting in an overall advancement in her placement from 2699 to 1940. Although there was a pace increase during the third mile, she regained momentum, finishing 814th in her F30-39 division. For future races, focusing on maintaining consistent pace across all splits could enhance overall performance. Great job maintaining strong placement among 5663 participants.
