Consistent Progression with Strategic Pacing Caroline McKeon delivered a steady performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, demonstrating strategic pacing throughout the race. Her splits exhibited impressive consistency, with an overall finishing time of 1:00:15, maintaining a commendable average pace of 9:43 min/mile across the 6.2-mile course. Notably, her split times began with a cautious 9:51 min/mile, dropping to an improved 9:18 min/mile by the second mile, contributing to a strong progression in placements throughout the race. Caroline's most consistent section was between miles 2 and 4, maintaining a pace of 9:33 min/mile before experiencing a slight slow down in the last miles, with a final pace of 9:44 min/mile. This contributed to a notable climb in overall standing, concluding at 1695 out of 5663 participants. Offering strategic reflection, emphasis could be placed on sustaining late-race momentum to further enhance her already commendable performance. Pleasantly, being part of the LWVMA@105 team seemed to provide additional motivation.
