Consistency with a Strong Finish In the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, Abby Mitty consistently maintained a solid pace. She started with a steady pace of 9:14 min/mile for the first two splits. By the third mile, her pace slightly adjusted to 9:57 min/mile. Despite this, she maintained determination and completed the 6.2-mile race with an average pace of 9:36 min/mile. Throughout the race, Abby's positions fluctuated, peaking at the 6th mile where she moved up tremendously. Her strategies caused her to finish 1037th overall in the last mile split, which is remarkable considering there were 5663 participants. Abbys ability to adapt and conquer throughout the various stages of the race showcases her potential. For future races, focusing on maintaining pace consistency around mile 3 and holding the initial pace across all splits could bring an even stronger performance.
