Consistent Improvement with Strong Finish Andrea Zuniga showed steady improvement throughout the 2025 Boston 10K for Women, particularly notable in her second half of the race. After starting with a pace of 11:56 min/mile, she progressively quickened each mile. By the fourth mile, Andrea had reduced her mile time to 10:50, showing a keen ability to pace herself more efficiently. The latter miles were her strongest, with a repeatable split time of 10:31 for both the fifth and sixth mile, which contributed significantly to her overall pace of 11:05 min/mile. Andrea notably moved up from 3556th in her gender category at the first mile to 1936th by the end of the race, indicating a focused second half push. This well-managed progression enabled Andrea to elevate her placement in her age division significantly. In future races, similar improvements could lead to even better results.
