Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Ellie Jones showcased a commendable performance at the 2025 Boston 10K for Women. Throughout the 6.2-mile race, Ellie exhibited consistent improvement in her pacing. She started with a 9:54 min/mile pace in the first mile, progressively accelerating to a 9:03 min/mile in the final mile. Finishing with an overall time of 57:47, Ellie achieved an average pace of 9:19 min/mile. Notably, she improved her standings from 1755 overall at the second mile to 885 by the sixth mile. Placing 506th in her division (F20-29) is impressive among 5663 participants. Ellies ability to maintain a steady pace with incremental improvements mile by mile was key to her performance.
